Blue Halloween is Warm and Spooky

Wait til you see! I was wondering how I was going to make the "spider " stand out without being too obvious. I painted the picture with an acrylic paint of flat black. So I used a - gloss- black and I think it came out just dandy!

I just finished painting a couple a new Halloween paintings on old salvaged wood I got at my favorite flea market in Massachusetts. I bought a box of canister lids that still had the round wood knob in it. I twisted the knob off and filed the hole in with wood putty. It was like magic that I had a beautiful plague with scalloped edges just waiting for a new life.
